Project HOPE is a relationship, capacity building program designed to provide comprehensive, community- based support services, temporary financial assistance and community volunteer coaching, to households who are currently or at risk of becoming homeless. The pilot project aims to serve 100 households.

What we do:

• Provide households with ongoing supportive services
• Enable households to maintain stable residency in the community
• Help households maximize their capacity for independent living
• Promote the development of support systems
• Promote self-efficacy and self-proficiency

Guiding principles: 

All people are capable of redefining their circumstances, determining a course of action and working towards a greater outcome.

All are capable of increasing their supportive networks to maximize existing resources and minimize barriers to success.

Everyone is capable of moving towards self-sufficiency by receiving temporary financial assistance. 

All are capable of increasing their skills and knowledge by participating in educational opportunities to attain and maintain employment or further develop their marketability
