Three year budget breakdown for federal HPRP funding of $1,930,217

Homeless Prevention

• $225,000    30 days emergency rent/utility assistance for 160 families to be administered overhead free by Crisis Assistance Ministry (this should be last)
• $20,000     for Legal Aid to fund a half-time attorney to assist an average of 100 families with credit repair, landlord legalities and other key client needs

Rapid Re-housing

• $900,217    rent, utilities and moving expenses for an average of 100 families through Project HOPE up to 18 months
• $20,000     for data collection, to cover a part-time clerk for data entry and CHIN training (the state database system)
• $90,000     for office supplies, computer equipment, printing, mailing, internet and phone service.
• $675,000    for 5 salaries - one (1) housing services coordinator, three (3) case managers and one (1) program director for 3 years

Project donations thus far:

• 20% of project oversight by Director of WISH Program (Darren Ash)
• Two (2) full time Volunteer Service Coordinators to be funded by grants spearheaded by WISH
• 20% of volunteer coordination oversight by WISH Volunteer Coordinator
• 20% of housing services oversight by WISH Housing Administrator (Andrea Smith)
• 5% of project oversight by Executive Director Crisis Assistance Ministry (Carol Hardison)
• 20% of Director of Special Projects at Crisis Assistance Ministry (Raquel Lynch)
• Administration and processing cost of prevention assistance for approximate 160 households (Crisis Assistance Ministry)
• Overhead: office space, electricity, maintenance, security for 8 full time workers (Crisis Assistance Ministry)
•  Six social workers, mileage, and phone service to an approximate $400,000 by Department of Social Services. This money will be re-allocated after the first six months of program existence to increase the number of families to be served through the rapid re-housing program
